We started our venture as Integrated Organic Farming by 2013 in the name of “SD Farms” near Vellore, Tamilnadu. Our attempts on Integrated Organic Farming was reported in various magazines such as Pasumai Vikatan, Dinamani, Dinakaran, Daily Thanthi, Vivasayi, Thanga Mangai and Mangayar Malar. Documentaries were taken and telecasted by News18 Tamilnadu in 2017 and Makkal TV in 2019.

Later, the overwhelming response from our beloved customers motivated us to add organic grocery products and house hold items to our product catalogue. Vellore Foods was founded in 2013 by Mrs. Deepa Lakshmi, Managing Director, has travelled a long way from its initiation. The managing director has obtained various awards including Best young farmer by New18 Tamilnadu, Best Homepreneur by Avatar Group, Best growing farmer by Junior Chamber of India (JCI), Best trend setter by Ooruni foundation.
